CPAM Parents Live Text Line
Mondays and Wednesdays
10am — 12pm PST
The CPAM Parents Text Line is a way for parents to get immediate support and guidance when they’ve just received a congenital lung malformation (CLM) diagnosis for their baby. It’s a space to connect quickly with another parent who can help you make sense of the diagnosis, offer reassurance, and help point you in the direction for further support or resources.
What can I expect?
You’ll have a short conversation by text with a CPAM Parents volunteer. We’ll listen, walk you through those first steps of processing the diagnosis, and connect you with resources, fact sheets, and ways to find longer-term support if you’d like it.
What is it not?
It’s not a crisis line.
It’s not long-term peer support
It’s not medical advice. Our volunteers are parents, not physicians or trained therapists.
What happens outside those hours?
You can still text us anytime. We’ll follow up when we’re back online.
Why should I use it?
Because those first few days after diagnosis can feel overwhelming and lonely. A short, compassionate conversation can make a huge difference in helping you feel less alone and more equipped to take the next step.
